Bags have arrived!

The other day, I received a very large box, i yipped with excitement, my bags (fairtrade) had arrived.

Following the mailout I did yesterday about the Stella Dore show, a few folk wondered what these bags look like. Well, today it was sunny down Brighton beach, so I took my new shopper/ tote/ bag and paraded along the promenade!

The bags are:
MATERIAL: Cotton calico, dyed using traditional pigment dyes
SIZE: 38w x 43h - handle length 63cms

PRINT AREA: 28 x 28cms
LIMITED EDITION OF: 200

£15 each

And they are fairtrade accredited, so the cotton is from farmers who have decent working conditions and get a better price for their work.

Stella Dore have started to take pre-orders for them, so if you'd like one, you can either wait til the night of the 5th (email nina@stelladore.co.uk to get on the guest list!),or email stella@stelladore.co.uk to pre-order one.

'Beautiful Nightmare' ed. of 10. 26 x 18cm

I will be releasing two tiny screenprint editions of 10, made with the magic bleaching technique on vintage 48 star flags. Bitter sweet and Beautiful Nightmare are like originals, but pocket sized.

My new black tote bags will be launched for the show, printed with an image of Marlene Dietrich, the bags are Fairtrade in a limited edition of 200.

If you haven't already seen the new Stella Dore gallery in the urban art hub of Rivington Street, their raw brick walls are the perfect setting for the new work, they also have a tempting lounge-come-print shop downstairs.

Free postcards until March 6

Whats the value of something, that is free? To me, free is the best, the value of something that you are given is surely greater than if you just buy it off the shelf.

Why am i rambling like this? Well, to celebrate the opening of my 'Noir' show at Stella Dore- which opens to the public on March 6th, I decided to do something nice, and free.....

I am giving away a FREE postcard pack with every order through my Etsy Shop. (The postcard pack is worth £7.50, just incase you wondered!) The pack is a lush professionally printed affair of 7 cards.

Have a mooch at my shop here, www.pamglew.etsy.com
